On the afternoon of May 7, in the auditorium of Desheng Campus of Beijing Second Experimental Primary School, Shan Jixiang, director of the Expert Committee of the Chinese Cultural Heritage Society, director of the Academic Committee of the Palace Museum, and consultant expert of the Beijing Historical and Cultural City Protection Committee, was invited to give a lecture on the theme of "Telling Chinese Stories and Disseminating Chinese Traditional Culture".
In the lecture, Shan Jixiang talked about the protection of cultural relics and the declaration of world cultural heritage through a large number of precious and vivid pictures, rich and diverse cases, detailed and accurate data and witty language. Focusing on the process of promoting the application of the Central Axis for World Heritage Status, how to properly protect cultural heritage and vividly tell the story of China's cultural heritage, he talked in depth about his profound experience and insights in the overall protection of famous cities, the inheritance of cultural heritage and the dissemination of excellent traditional culture.
At the same time, Shan Jixiang took the Forbidden City as an example to interpret in detail the architectural construction art and design characteristics of this ancient palace. He led everyone through time and space to gain an in-depth understanding of the precious historical relics and cultural heritage. The exquisiteness of the architecture, the preciousness of the collections, and the delicacy of the supplies all fully demonstrate the wisdom and profound skills of traditional Chinese culture and art.

After the event, the students of Desheng Campus of Beijing No. 2 Experimental Primary School presented Shan Jixiang's grandfather with handmade gifts full of Beijing cultural symbols.
