Carry out special inspections on food safety in school canteens
In order to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of school food safety supervision, integrate the risk points of campus catering food safety, and ensure that school food safety in the jurisdiction is orderly and controllable, in the past few days, the Food Safety Office of Baiyun Township, Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, has organized education, public health, market supervision, public security and other departments to jointly carry out special food safety inspections on 10 school canteens.
The inspection team went deep into the canteens of primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in Baiyun Township, and had a comprehensive understanding of the food safety work of the school canteens through on-the-spot inspections, information consultations, and reports. Emphasis was placed on the environmental hygiene, food procurement, storage, processing, disinfection of tableware, and drinking water safety in the school canteen.
In addition, the inspection team also learned about the establishment and implementation of the school's food safety management system, checked the "daily control, weekly inspection, monthly scheduling" and food safety management and other related records, and required the school to strengthen food safety publicity and education, and enhance the food safety awareness of teachers and students.
Through this inspection, it was found that there are still some problems in food safety management in some school canteens, such as the damage of the "three prevention" facilities and the non-standard record of sample retention. In response to these problems, the inspection team put forward specific rectification suggestions, requiring the school to rectify within a time limit, and strengthen daily supervision to ensure that food safety work is implemented.
Up to now, all schools with potential food safety hazards have completed rectification.
