On May 13, our district held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Art Activity Month for Primary and Secondary School Students and the classroom instrumental music performance, enriching the spiritual and cultural life of the students, making the students' physical and mental health, vitality more prominent, and personality more sound.
At the opening ceremony, students from Chaoyang Middle School and Siyuan Primary School brought cheerleading, chorus, martial arts and other performances, showing the vitality and passion of primary and secondary school students in our district. Huang Lei, deputy director of the District Education Commission, announced the opening of the 2024 Art Activity Month for primary and secondary school students in our district.
After the opening ceremony, a total of 27 teams from primary and secondary schools in the district participated in the classroom instrumental music performance. Meloca, cucurbit silk and other musical instruments appeared in turn, and won bursts of applause from the judges and the audience.
"We performed "Shangchun Mountain" and "My Motherland and Me". After two months of practice, we are confident that we can achieve a satisfactory result in this competition. Zhou Qiluo, a student at Chaoyang Middle School, said.
It is understood that May is the stage of concentrated art performances in primary and secondary schools in the district. Next, group dance selection activities, chorus selection activities, "drama into campus" selection activities, and campus singer competition selection activities will be held to comprehensively improve students' cultural understanding, aesthetic perception, artistic expression, creative practice and other core literacy, and enrich students' spiritual and cultural life.
