One of the reasons for such a tradition is that the power system of the Inquisitive M7 is a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender + a motor provided by Huawei, which is the same as the power form of the Inquisitive M5. Due to the presence of an internal combustion engine, it requires an intake grille to keep it functioning properly.
From the side, its silhouette is very dignified, the line of the roof is relatively flat, the door panel does not have a complex shape, a change in the appearance of the M5 small slipback. The hubs are 20 inches, with a slight sense of movement. After all, the length, width and height of the M7 has reached 5020/1945/1775mm, the wheelbase is 2820mm, the size is similar to the ideal ONE that everyone is familiar with, it is not a small car, and the contour design of this standard is at least not easy to make mistakes.
In terms of the rear, the M7 uses through-line taillights, but the shape does not echo the headlights perfectly. Its tailgate covers all the way to the side of the car, a bit like the design of the Audi Q5, but it looks less coordinated when placed on a 5-meter car.
Judging from the official chart, the color scheme of the M7 is relatively trendy, with cyan and light pink. These are the paint colors that have become popular for new energy vehicles in recent years.
The inside of its carriage is not yet known, but according to the declaration information, it will use a six-seat layout. Considering the body size and price (expected to be more than 300,000), it will directly face a strong competitor such as the ideal ONE, and the pressure on the future can be described as not small. According to the experience of Q&I M5, the experience of intelligent aspects should be first-class with the support of Huawei's Hongmeng system. Of course, relying on the car machine alone is not enough to persuade consumers to pay, the matching of the M5 in the chassis and power system is not perfect enough, and the M7 must pay more attention to this aspect. In addition to the intensive preparation of the second model, AITO recently pushed the first OTA upgrade for the users of the Q&I M5. The main content includes the main driver seat welcome, light prompt, smart voice, large-screen UI interface, turn signal tone and other optimizations. For example, when the main driving door is opened, the main driver seat will automatically identify whether there are passengers in the left rear seat, so as to determine whether the main driver seat has moved backwards, and when the main driving door is closed, the main driver seat will move forward and return to the memory position. Smart voice functions are also more abundant, adding voice broadcast control audible news, adding voice command navigation and so on.
According to Huawei's plan, the sales volume of the AITO brand will reach 300,000 units in 2022, including the M5 extended range version, the pure electric version, and the in-line M7 that will be launched in the near future. This is an unattainable goal.
