Hospitals have strength, young people have responsibilities| and famous obstetric doctors who have been hanging all the way have always been in awe of life

When she first became a doctor, her small goal was to do one more operation and overcome one more surgical difficulty; now as a famous obstetrician, her big goal is to save one more uterus, save one more life, and cultivate more outstanding talents for the cause of obstetric medicine.

Liang Zhaoxia, director of the Obstetrics Department and director of obstetrics outpatient clinic of Zhejiang University Women's Hospital, is the first doctor of obstetrics independently trained by the hospital. At present, she has served as a professor, chief physician and doctoral supervisor in multiple important positions. However, in the long road of medicine, she was always the same as the beginning, always with a heart of reverence for life.

Conditions in the delivery room are changing rapidly

She is always ready to respond

Liang Chaoxia's master's degree focuses on gynecological oncology. As a small doctor, she did not have many opportunities to practice on the operating table at that time, and could only stay in the hospital as much as possible at night and on weekends, and seize the opportunity to practice surgery with stitches and needles. She quickly undertook most of the gynecological surgeries and mastered high-level gynecological surgeries such as difficult hysterectomy in as short a time as possible.

At the doctoral stage, she chose the direction of obstetrics in a different way, under the tutelage of Professor Chen Danqing, a famous obstetrician. "The condition of pregnant women and fetuses is more complex and rapidly changing, which not only requires doctors to have solid obstetrics and rich knowledge of internal medicine, but also requires doctors to be able to respond to changes and make decisions on the spot, and the rescue ability of critical and serious diseases is particularly demanding, and I like to do this kind of challenging work."

Postpartum haemorrhage is the most common and dangerous complication of obstetrics, and doctors should respond quickly, judge quickly, and take reasonable measures to save maternal life and preserve the uterus as much as possible.

Liang Zhaoxia repeatedly encountered maternal hemorrhage almost shock, life hanging on the line, it seems that removing the uterus is the only way. But she always carefully observed, carefully evaluated, weighed the pros and cons, as long as she thought there was still a glimmer of opportunity, even if it took the risk, she had to try to save the womb. Because she always believes that most women are young, and losing the uterus will bring them a very heavy blow.

As a result, she repeatedly abandoned the seemingly more secure hysterectomy plan, tried to use rescue measures such as tamponade and binding sutures, and finally let the critically ill mother overcome the danger and the uterus was saved.

Sometimes after more than ten hours of rescue, she is often tired and her legs are trembling, but the heartfelt pleasure of the mother after the safety of the mother dilutes all fatigue, "the sense of accomplishment of saving a uterus and saving a life is incomparable to the reward of fame and fortune." ”

In order to overcome the difficult and serious diseases of obstetrics

Never stop moving forward

Recently, Liang Chaoxia completed a high-level and extremely difficult obstetric operation – a cesarean section and the removal of large and multiple uterine fibroids. When Xiaomin (pseudonym) was prepared for IVF for many years of infertility, she was surprised to find out that she was pregnant, but she had more than a decade of history of multiple uterine fibroids, and the largest two were close to 10 centimeters in size. Considering her 38-year-old age of birth and years of infertility history, as well as her strong desire to become pregnant, Liang Zhaoxia instructed her to be sure to have regular obstetric examinations and close follow-up.

After insisting until 37 weeks of pregnancy, Xiaomin had frequent contractions, and Liang Zhaoxia admitted him to the hospital in time, because the growth site of fibroids hindered the birth canal and decided to perform a cesarean section to terminate the pregnancy. The operation was very smooth, a healthy baby girl with a full score was born, two uterine fibroids of more than 10cm were completely removed, only 300ml of bleeding during the operation, and it was successfully discharged from the hospital 4 days after the operation, which was almost no different from the ordinary caesarean section, which was a complete ending that Xiao Min did not dare to imagine at first.

Liang Chaoxia also completed the fourth and fifth scar uterine surgeries for many times, and the repair of perineal IV lacerations after normal delivery. Usually, pregnant women often say to Liang Zhaoxia in the operating room: "Director Liang, I will 'hand it over' to you!" This is their greatest trust in Liang Zhaoxia.

Liang Chaoxia's scientific research and teaching work has also been carried out with great success. After being promoted to chief physician, she went to the United States to do postdoctoral research, quietly specialized in scientific research for nearly two years and achieved good results, and after returning to China, she was successfully promoted to professor of obstetrics and gynecology and doctoral supervisor of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, and presided over the national and provincial natural science foundation projects and provincial science and technology key research and development program projects for many times. She has been awarded the Liu Tianxiang Award of Zhejiang University Women's Hospital, the Clinical Top Young Talents of Zhejiang University Medical College (Category A), and the High-level Innovative Talents of Zhejiang Provincial Health.

She loves teaching, and now she not only teaches at Zhejiang University School of Medicine, is also an undergraduate class teacher, and leads master's and doctoral students, but also opens a famous teacher studio with 6 professors such as Lantian Academy and Academician Yang Wei of Qiushi College of Zhejiang University.

Her biggest wish is: with the help of the strong obstetric clinical team and scientific research platform of Zhejiang University Women's Hospital, she will bravely meet the challenge, continue to improve herself, and strive to continue to "open up" on the road of medicine.
