Jiwei Network News (Text/Chen Wei) On March 24, Wuling New Energy issued a document saying that due to the impact of comprehensive factors such as the continuous sharp rise in upstream raw material prices, SAIC-GM-Wuling will adjust the official guidance price of its Wuling Hongguang MINIEV series models, Wuling NanoEV models and Baojun KiWiEV models, ranging from 4,000 yuan to 8,000 yuan, and the price adjustment will take effect from 0:00 on March 24.
It is understood that since 2014, SAIC-GM-Wuling has closely followed the strategic direction of the country's development of new energy vehicles. Combined with the trend of automobile consumption upgrading and user rejuvenation, we will accelerate the pace of innovation with the new four modernization strategies as the core, focus on the small new energy vehicle market, and strive to build a global small pure electric vehicle architecture of GSEV. Since the launch of the E100 in 2017, the cumulative sales of GSEV have exceeded 500,000 units, and the sales volume of small new energy vehicles ranks first in the world.
In August last year, Sunwoda was selected as the supplier of power battery cells for the Shangtong Wuling CN220MHEV project.
According to the official display of Wuling Motors, the official guidance price of Wuling NanoEV models has been raised by 4,000 yuan, which is 56,800-66,800 yuan. The official guidance price of Wuling Hongguang MINIEV series 2022 model model was raised by 4,000 yuan, which was 32,800-44,800 yuan.
As of November last year, SAIC-GM-Wuling New Energy products have successfully covered 33 provinces and 333 cities across the country, accounting for 14% of first- and second-tier cities. GSEV users have traveled more than 3.6 billion kilometers, providing car owners with more than 140 million convenient trips, with a daily activity rate of 94.7%, of which short-distance travel within 20 kilometers accounts for 95%, more than 25,000 charging piles have been set up in 260 cities across the country, providing convenient travel charging services for more than 10 million users, and reducing carbon emissions by a total of 448,000 tons.
In addition, looking ahead, Wuling believes that its main customer, SAIC-GM-Wuling, will continue to provide strong support to auto parts and other industrial service segments in the coming years, as well as the competitiveness of its main customers, the launch of its successful models and new models, and the implementation of suitable strategies and business solutions for other customers.
