The People's Literature Publishing House recently launched a new book " Classical Spring Water: Twelve Lectures on Ancient Poetry of Pan Xiangli " ( hardcover, full color, Ren Bonian illustrated version ) , inviting readers to encounter ancient poetry together.
This is a collection of ancient poems and essays recently created by pan Xiangli, a famous writer and vice chairman of the Shanghai Writers Association, which talks about nearly 60 ancient literati and appreciates more than 100 ancient poems. Pan Xiangli is straightforward and bright, has a distinct personality, and speaks surprisingly, often saying words that have never been spoken before. This is the correct posture to open the ancient poems, such as to close friends, wearing liver and guts, bold expression, open-mindedness. The magnificent imagination of the novelist, the thoughtfulness of the female literati, and the ancients in the depths of time such as Tao Yuanming, Du Fu, Li Shangyin, Yan Shu, Yan Jidao, Ouyang Xiu, Su Shi, Zhou Bangyan, Lu You, Xin Zhiyi, etc., have come to life, and everyone has flesh and blood, vividly, and comes to us.

The whole book not only talks about the wonders of ancient poetry in the past, but also talks about life with affection, father-daughter affection, beautiful love, and friendship of the deceased. The prologue "Du Fu Ambushes In Middle Age Waiting for Me", starting from his differences with his father (famous scholar and Professor Pan Xulan of Fudan University) around Du Fu, writing about his father's death, writing about the company of ancient poems to help her tide over the difficulties, and the "father-daughter affection" that pervades the words between the lines touches the heavens and the earth.
