As far as the "Book of Poetry" and as close as "Dream of the Red Chamber", the poems in the poem are easy to pick up, don't come out of the machine, and there are many amazing words; the last six chapters focus on the portraits of the middle and late Tang dynasty poets, Yan Shu and Yan Jidao, Ouyang Xiu and Zhou Bangyan, Su Dongpo, Lu You, Xin Zhiyi, one person and one question, full of brilliance, not only the past love is deep, but also the writing is more proficient in ancient and modern.

The whole book not only talks about the wonders of ancient poetry in the past, but also talks about life with affection, father-daughter affection, beautiful love, and friendship of the deceased, which is touching to read. The prologue "Du Fu Ambushes In Middle Age Waiting for Me", starting from his differences with his father (famous scholar and Professor Pan Xulan of Fudan University) around Du Fu, writing about his father's death, writing about the company of ancient poems to help her tide over the difficulties, and the "father-daughter affection" that pervades the words between the lines touches the heavens and the earth.

In the view of literary critic Li Jingze, the book can be said to be an archive of Chinese emotions, or an archive of life, and the author has divided the two sides of Chinese poetry and Chinese, and the emotions in Chinese and Chinese poetry, and talked about our sense of history and the poetry of Yongshi. Li Jingze believes that Pan Xiangli actually put her life and her emotions into it to re-read and reinterpret, so that the ancient poems can be brightened and new, and become our own poems.

Writer Bi Feiyu believes that Pan Xiangli's writing is more like archaeology, an aesthetic archaeology or poetic aesthetic archaeology, in this archaeological process, she painted us some spectra, which is particularly interesting.

Peng Min, the winner of the fifth season of the Chinese Poetry Conference and deputy director of the editorial department of the Poetry Journal, believes that the author pulls back those poets who are worshiped and looked up to sit on an equal footing with us and look at each other, which helps to narrow the distance between ancient poetry, poets and general readers.
