The 7th Uddhav Prize for Fiction was launched

Since its establishment, the Yu Dafu Novel Award has always adhered to the main purpose of embodying the national spirit, gathering the weather of the times, daring to discover life, promoting social progress, and soothing the human soul, while emphasizing the artistic purity of the works, paying attention to the inheritance and innovation of the Chinese narrative tradition, and vigorously promoting works that are romantic, sensual and rich in distinctive styles, and paying attention to the discovery of new literary newcomers at the same creative level. Due to advocating the transparent appraisal method of "real-name voting and open comments", and breaking through the inclusion of overseas Chinese novels in the scope of the awards, the Yu Dafu Novel Award has always been concerned and appreciated by the industry and the public.

The selection of the 7th Uddhav Fiction Awards continues to implement the established award concept and award criteria. All Works of Chinese novels and short stories published in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021 (online literary works are temporarily excluded from the scope of recommendation) can participate in the collection of works through the above methods. Due to language limitations, all novels created in the languages of ethnic minorities on the mainland must participate in the awards in Chinese translations. The collection time of this year's works is until May 31, 2022, and the novella award and the short story award will be selected from the final selection, and the novella nomination award and the short story nomination award will be selected. The award ceremony will be held on December 7, 2022 in Fuyang, Hangzhou.
