Couplets are a form of literature that is appreciated by both elegant and popular customs, not only in the famous mountains and rivers everywhere, there are couplets improvised by literati inkers; and every festive season, or weddings and funerals, there will also be good couplets. For example, Nanjing Yanziji has a pair of anonymous inscriptions:
The sound of pine, bamboo, bell chime, the sound is free;
Mountain color, water color, smoke color, color is empty.
This pair of clever pairs uses five "sound" characters in the upper link and five "color" characters in the lower link, showing the quiet and vastness of Yanziji. "Sound and sound" write the harmony and perfection of nature; "all colors are empty", which reflects the author's transcendent reverie, which is appreciated.
There is a writer who has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and has also visited many famous temples and ancient temples. Everywhere he went, he would write travelogues and poems, and occasionally improvised couplets. The following is an introduction to Yu Dafu's two couplets, writing lyrical scenes, reflecting the complex mood of different periods.

Yu Dafu is a famous literary scholar in modern times, and even Mr. Guo Moruo, who has a high degree of poetry attainment, also admires his ancient literary skills. During his lifetime, Yu Dafu created countless literary works such as poems, essays and novels, which were deeply loved by readers.
He also left a small number of couplets for future generations, chewing carefully, and these artistic treasures are also deeply felt. Mr. Li, who once lived in Singapore, wrote a long couplet in The Rucui Building, which reads as follows:
Refreshing from the west, looking at the thirteen bay smoke scene;
Zhongyuan Lao looked north and traced the 90,000-mile Pengcheng from the beginning.
The poet is in a foreign land, but his heart is close to the motherland, he never forgets his relatives in his hometown, and he is always worried about the common people who are plagued by disasters and difficulties. The author actively participated in the propaganda of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, feared no difficulties and risks, and actively appealed to overseas Chinese in Nanyang to actively participate in anti-Japanese activities.
The poet looked north to the Central Plains and hoped that the toiling masses would be freed from the sea of suffering as soon as possible. But he also knew that nothing could happen overnight, and he was very much in favor of the argument of protracted war. Therefore, the author said passionately in the text, "From the beginning, ninety thousand miles pengcheng", full of heroism. The whole text is written lyrically, in one go, worthy of the talent of the Republic of China.

Yu Dafu's former residence is in the alley of a stone road called "Dafu Lane" in Guanxia Street, Fuyang County. The current new brick house on the third floor and three bottoms was rebuilt on the original site after liberation, called the "Former Residence of the Dave Martyrs".
The courtyard is full of flowers and plants, and there is a herb that Daf planted before his death. There are still a few large stone slabs in front of the court, and traces of the old house can be faintly seen. He personally inscribed a couplet:
No communication is due to laziness,
Selling articles for books.
This couplet was written by Yu Dafu in the 1930s after he moved from Shanghai to Hangzhou in order to avoid the censorship of the Kuomintang reactionaries, and it is also a product of his politically negative period.
For this period of Yu Dafu's life, Mr. Lu Xun had given poems to criticize and dissuade, but Yu Dafu did not accept it at that time. This couplet reflects the author's ambivalent mood at the time, on the one hand, he described not participating in political activities as "no customs", but on the other hand, he tried to explain it as "because of laziness" and "to buy books".
To cut off contact with the world is to cut off contact with the world. After Yu Dafu and his wife Wang Yingxia broke away from the literary and artistic organization of the Shanghai Left League, they did not participate in various other forms of struggle, and moved to Hangzhou, built a "wind and rain hut", and lived a secluded life.
The author indulges in a lazy life and seems very laid-back. The word "lazy" is yuddhav's internal dispatch of his seclusion. "Betraying articles" refers to the fact that Yu Dafu tried his best to write when he was in Hangzhou.
In fact, the author was still very hard at that time, according to Duff's diary, he counted that he had to submit articles many times in a month, there were five magazines in "Literature", "Translation", "Modern", and "Current Affairs New Newspaper", and it took 100,000 words to cope. From this couplet, one can truly see the ups and downs in the ideological path of this important writer in the new literary history in the turbulent times.
