Looking at the present, should we ignore those who live in poverty and disadvantage? Both in the legal sense and in practice, there are indeed some socially disadvantaged groups on the mainland. The Relief Law of the People's Republic of China clearly classifies low-income families, out-of-school children, and the disabled as priority relief targets, which has been recognized by law.
In fact, although a large number of migrant workers change their livelihoods through urban labor, they still face many difficulties in urban areas due to their low level of education and poor basic conditions. Ethnic minorities and people in remote areas in some areas are also vulnerable groups due to information differences and poverty.
But "the bottom of society" is not a value judgment, nor is it a concept that is always fixed. It is simply used to describe groups of people who are currently living in a disadvantaged state based on certain objective conditions. We should not dismiss the phenomenon itself because of a few words. And some statements in the media that regard "the bottom of society" as a derogatory term are also not objective. It is important to pay attention to and improve the actual situation of these groups.
Also, don't deny the initiative of the disadvantaged. Give them opportunities and help so that they can succeed through employment and education. In fact, many successful people who started from the grassroots level are the best cases.
