World Book Day
Under the guidance of the Central Propaganda Department, the 2021 "China Good Books" organized by the China Book Critics Association was recently announced, and a total of 42 books were selected. Among them, there are 2 kinds of annual honorary books, 9 kinds of theme publishing, 8 kinds of humanities and social sciences, 14 kinds of literature and art, 4 kinds of popular science life, and 5 kinds of children's categories.
Among the 14 kinds of literary and artistic "Chinese Good Books", there are 10 novels, of which 6 have been reprinted by the "Selected Novels". They are:
"Ping An Batch" (by Chen Jiming, published by Beijing October Literature and Art Publishing House and Huacheng Publishing House in October 2021, reprinted in Selected Novels, No. 1 and No. 2, 2022)
"Yousheng" (By Hu Xuewen, "Chung Shan Novels", Volume A, 2020, published by Jiangsu Phoenix Literature and Art Publishing House in January 2021, reprinted in Selected Novels, No. 5, 2020)
"The White Horse Gone" (by Zhu Xiuhai, published by Beijing October Literature and Art Publishing House in February 2021, reprinted in Selected Novels, No. 4, 2021)
"The Sun Turns" (by Fan Wen, published by The People's Literature Publishing House in November 2021, reprinted in Selected Novels, No. 1, 2022)
"Warm Summer" (by Wang Song, published by Writers Publishing House in March 2021, reprinted in the special issue of "Decisive Victory in Poverty Alleviation" in 2021, "Decisive Victory in Poverty Alleviation and Comprehensive Construction of a Well-off Society")
"Echoes" (East and West, published by People's Literature Publishing House in June 2021, reprinted in Selected Novels, No. 5, 2021)
The other four selected novels are: "NorthLand" (Lao Teng), "Dawang" (Li Fengqun), "Splendid Embroidery" (Li Tie), "Bungee Jumping" (Lu Shan).
