At a time when china's vast rural areas are ushering in more magnificent mountain and rural changes, the Chinese Writers Association launched the "New Era Mountain and Countryside Great Change Creation Plan", striving to focus on the epic changes in China's mountains and countryside in the new era in the form of original novels, showing the changes of the rural era from multiple angles, vividly telling the stories of the mountains and villages that move the world, shaping the flesh and blood of the people, and holding out the literary masterpieces of the new era with crystal dew and the fragrance of the earth for the people. With the power of literature, we will stimulate the high morale and firm belief of rural revitalization in the new era. This is an unprecedented grandeur and large-scale production, and it will undoubtedly write a strong and colorful stroke in the history of literature.

Rural themes have always been one of the most concerned areas of the Selected Novels. Especially as the world-renowned battle against poverty has entered a climax, we have spared no effort to introduce to readers those exquisite masterpieces that carry the temperature of the times, truly sink into the depths of life, take root in the mountains and countryside of the new era, and devote ourselves to the great changes in the mountains and townships. "Two Rivers Estuary" (Xiang Bengui), "The Earth" (Yang Yao), "Warm Summer" (Wang Song), "Three Mountains" (Li Tiancen), "DaLou Mountain" (Wang Hua), "The Sun Turns" (Fan Wen)... These works, or faithfully record the process of poverty alleviation, or praise the great cause of rural revitalization, all of which use the strong pen power of realism to write about the changes in the fate of China's rural areas in the process of modernization, as well as the hope and possibility of new changes in the countryside in this process, highlighting the value concept of "happiness comes from struggle". We also specially launched the special number of "Decisive Victory in Poverty Alleviation and Comprehensive Construction of a Well-off Society", and specially set up a special topic of "Tribute to Poverty Alleviation and Rural Revitalization" in the sixth annual gold list selection activity of long novels.
