Beijing, April 15 (China-Singapore) -- Recently, a seminar on the famous writer Chen Yingsong's long novel "Tianlu Bay" was held in the form of a combination of online and offline. According to the organizers, "Tianlu Bay" was published by the Changjiang Literature and Art Publishing House in January 2022, and the novel takes the 40 years of reform and opening up as the background of the times, and writes the entrepreneurial history of farmers in the Jianghan Plain who have achieved poverty alleviation and prosperity through struggle.

For this work, Li Jingze, vice chairman of the China Writers Association, believes that "TianluWan" is "re-hometownization" for Chen Yingsong - to return to his hometown and re-understand his hometown. Chen Yingsong depicts the great changes in the countryside from a literary, emotional and rational perspective and in an appropriate way, infiltrated by the perspective of sociology and anthropology.
Meng Fanhua, vice president of the China Contemporary Literature Research Association, believes that "TianluWan" is Chen Yingsong's "re-defamiliarization creation" of his hometown, and the works are close to details, close to reality, and have distinct ideological, epochal and subjective nature.
He mentioned that the most wonderful thing about the work is to write about the daily life, joys and sorrows of the people of Tianlu Bay, and write about the "human world" of Tianlu Bay.
"China Writers" magazine chief programmer Shaowu said that the connotation, direction, theme of the novel are particularly rich, the structure is composed of two main lines of entrepreneurial line and emotional line, and intertwined and integrated, not only the ups and downs of the entrepreneurial process are written out, but also the character storyline is written more beautiful and complex, and the future happy life in rural China is vividly placed in front of the eyes, thus shaping a beautiful countryside that people yearn for.

Speaking of the original intention of creation, Chen Yingsong, author of "Tianlu Bay", said: "The long novel "Tianlu Bay" is a hometown book of mine, a story about hometown and land. The inspiration for this novel comes from home, but also from life... Grapes and hometown are just a background, I just want to write about a group of farmers, about two generations of farmers, their feelings for the land, their struggle for a better life. (End)
