The appearance of each cultural relic is a reproduction of a period of past time and space. At the 3rd Chinese Archaeological Congress held in Sanmenxia City, Henan Province on October 18, 2021, the list of China's "Top 100 Archaeological Discoveries in a Hundred Years" was announced, and the "Guizhou Zunyi Hailongtun City Site and the Yang's Toast Tomb Group in Bozhou" were selected, which became another happy news for the archaeological work in Guizhou after the "Gui'an New District Zhaoguo cave site" was awarded the "2020 National Top Ten Archaeological New Discoveries". At the moment when culture and tourism are deeply integrated, many cultural elements such as historical relics and revolutionary cultural relics are vividly "alive".
On the north side of the middle section of Lincheng East Road in Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City, the Guizhou Provincial Museum has attracted the attention of passers-by with its unique shape. As the largest museum in Guizhou, the total collection of the museum has reached more than 80,000 pieces, of which Miao costumes and Miao silver jewelry rank first in the country.
There are more than 160 museums in our province, and 200 are planned to reach during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, with an average of more than two in each county (city, district). Guizhou Provincial Museum, Guizhou Nationalities Museum, Zunyi Conference Memorial Hall, Sidu Chishui Memorial Hall, Liping Conference Memorial Hall, Guizhou Tea Culture and Ecology Museum, Guizhou Wu Culture Museum, etc., or present a comprehensive structure with its huge volume, or highlight the theme with its regional characteristics, and the various cultural relics displayed on display quietly tell people an untold story in history.

The museum has the functions of collection, protection, inheritance, display, education, etc., it displays cultural relics to the public through certain themes and arrangements, so that the public can be educated in the process of visiting, which is essentially a public welfare undertaking. But from the perspective of tourism, the process of visiting the museum is a process of "tour". Many travel agencies list the museum as a scenic spot for visiting, and while enjoying the cultural benefits brought by the public space for free, tourists can also ask star tour guides to "open a small stove" at their own expense to deepen the viewing experience, and can buy distinctive creative products in the cultural and creative shops in the museum.

For example, in the theme exhibition "Dinosaurs Are Coming - Returning to the Mesozoic Era" sponsored by the Guizhou Provincial Museum, visitors deepened their understanding of dinosaur skeletons, dinosaur eggs, dinosaur teeth, dinosaur footprint fossils and other cultural relics under the action of sound, light and electricity. How to make the artifacts in the museum come alive? Nine departments and bureaus, including the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, jointly issued the "Implementation Plan for the Reform and Development of Museums in Guizhou Province", which scientifically constructed the top-level design of the reform and development of museums in the province. At the same time, our province has also completed the "Outline of the Basic Exhibition of Guizhou Provincial Museums", started the "Guizhou Provincial Museum Tourism Manual" and the compilation of hand-drawn maps, and carried out performance evaluation and subsidy fund adjustment for the province to enjoy free opening of subsidized museums. For the first time, the non-state-owned museums were assessed and evaluated, and the top ten non-state-owned museums in Guizhou Province in 2021 were selected, medals were awarded, and 100,000 yuan was awarded to each museum, and 10 units such as Guizhou Xishui Song Cellar Museum, Guiyang Hand Memory Museum, Qiandongnan Sun Drum Museum, and Xingyi Triassic Museum were listed. The "Guizhou Provincial Cultural Relics and Museum Units Tourism Open Utilization Implementation Plan" provides many possibilities for cultural relics to come alive.
