Tell the three-line story well, spread the third-line culture, and carry forward the third-line spirit. On January 25, the Guizhou Provincial Museum held a special donation ceremony, which was different from the previous cultural relics, but the machine tools and equipment that had been "served" in Guizhou for more than 50 years.
These equipment comes from China Aviation Development Guizhou Liyang Aviation Power Co., Ltd., which is the production equipment of the third-line construction period, including five machines weighing 16 tons such as lathes, rocker drills, and ram milling machines, which are monuments of merit that have contributed to the manufacture of aero engines in the mainland.
In the 1960s, with the start of the construction of the third line, China Aviation Development Guizhou Liyang Aviation Power Co., Ltd. came into being. After nearly 60 years of construction, the enterprise has grown into a national aero engine manufacturing backbone enterprise and a key enterprise of China Aero Engine Group Co., Ltd.
As a representative enterprise of the third-line construction, in order to better inherit the third-line spirit and tell the story of the third-line, China Aviation Development Guizhou Liyang Aviation Power Co., Ltd. was awarded the national key cultural relics protection unit. According to reports, the five pieces of equipment donated this time are all "high-precision" equipment built during the third-line construction period in the 1960s, including hexagonal lathes produced by the former Federal Republic of Germany, lathes produced by Shenyang First Machine Tool Factory, and sleeper milling machines produced by Guilin Machine Tool Factory, etc., with the heaviest weight reaching 10 tons. In November last year, with the consent of China Aviation Development Guizhou Liyang Aviation Power Co., Ltd., it donated five sets of meritorious production equipment that had made great contributions during the construction of the third line in Guizhou to the Guizhou Provincial Museum free of charge.
"The museum is the best destination for cultural relics and the best carrier for collecting the memories of the 'three-line spirit'." We hope that more young people will understand the hard work experience of the older generation during the third-line construction period through the museum, and can not forget history and forge ahead in the new era. Ouyang Hua, director of the Cultural Relics Protection Office of Guizhou Liyang Aviation Power Co., Ltd., said that in recent years, with the upgrading of modern machine tool equipment, some old equipment has gradually withdrawn from the historical stage. The donated third-line memorial, the equipment that was scrapped in 2019, is based on the equipment used in aero-engine manufacturing, research and development, and production, and Liyang Company selected several more typical and historically significant units to donate. These equipment have witnessed the outstanding contributions made by Liyang Company to the construction of national defense equipment and local economic development.
"As one of the beautiful business cards of colorful Guizhou, 'third-line culture' provides a solid foundation for the integrated development of culture and tourism in Guizhou." At the donation ceremony, Yuan Wei, member of the party group and deputy director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guizhou Province, thanked Liyang Company for its donation, saying that as a key province in the construction of the third line, builders from all over the motherland have made great achievements after hard work, laying a solid foundation for the industrialization of Guizhou and promoting Guizhou to go out of the mountains and integrate into the whole country. The many industrial production equipment preserved to this day by the third-line construction have historical, scientific, social and cultural value, which is not only a historical witness to the industrial development of Guizhou, but also an important part of the industrial heritage of the mainland. The provincial museum received this batch of equipment, which is of great significance for inheriting the history and culture of the third-line construction and carrying forward the spirit of the third-line construction. Taking this entry into Tibet as a starting point, I hope that more third-line heritage will enter the museum; take this as a starting point to better integrate into the overall situation of cultural tourism development and let cultural heritage "live".
Wang Jiang, director of the Cultural Relics Protection Department of the Guizhou Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, is the "matchmaker" of this batch of donated cultural relics. "The construction of the third line is the first large-scale development of the western region of New China, which has set off the third wave of immigration in Guizhou's history after the Western Han And Ming Dynasties, and has had a profound impact on Guizhou's social economy." This history should be collected and remembered, and that is what the museum does. Li Fei, director of the Guizhou Provincial Museum, said that in the future, the museum will carry out maintenance and protection of the monuments entering Tibet, clarify the context of the collection, conduct preliminary research, and transform them into exhibition and educational resources to improve the quality of exhibitions. Taking this donation as an opportunity, the Guizhou Provincial Museum will grasp the collection, research, protection and utilization of cultural relics of the third-line construction through multiple channels, continuously improve the service system, let more people understand the arduous process of the third-line construction and the brilliant achievements of the third-line construction, and let the third-line spirit be carried forward in the new era.
