Tesla officially did not release its January 2022 sales figures. However, according to the data of the Association of Automobiles, Tesla's sales of Cars produced in China in January were 59,845 units, down 15.5% month-on-month. Among them, 40,499 vehicles were exported in January, and domestic retail sales were 19,346 vehicles, which was higher than the sales of Weilai, Xiaopeng, Ideal and Nezha.
According to Tesla's fourth-quarter and full-year earnings report, Tesla set a record of about 940,000 vehicles for the whole of 2021, with an average of about 78,000 deliveries per month. So overall, Tesla's performance in January was not too ideal.
