According to the express, in January 2022, SAIC-GM Motor Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SAIC Motor Group, produced 110,102 vehicles, down 15.95% year-on-year; SAIC-GM sold 110,007 units, down 15.43% year-on-year, also lower than the 160,628 units sold last month.
According to the data, SAIC Motor Group produced 467,834 vehicles in January 2022, an increase of 8.71% year-on-year, and vehicle sales of 455,552 units, an increase of 13.02% year-on-year.
SAIC-GM Motor Co., Ltd. was the only car company under SAIC Motor Group whose sales fell year-on-year, with sales of SAIC Volkswagen, SAIC-GM-Wuling and SAIC Maxus increasing by 51.69%, 18.02%, 18.01% and 25.20% respectively year-on-year.
