He told Sky Sports in 2020: "For me, the value of a Champions League title is what it brings to president Massimo Moratti, club captain and legend Javier Zanetti, all the players and fans. For me, it's all about being selfless. I can't be selfish. That's why I find it so special. I feel special because even though this is a very important moment in my career, I still manage to remain humble and calm. I'm more concerned with bringing meaning to others about this trophy.
12 years later, the white-haired Portuguese man is standing on the pitch of Meazza again, and although he is already the coach of the away team, behind him is the song of the meazza mountain calling for a tsunami: Mourinho, you are my hero!
