On February 11, local time, the Naypyidaw Zebudiuri Court in Myanmar held another hearing on the corruption case involving former State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi.

According to defence counsel, the court held only a trial that day on Aung San Suu Kyi's alleged bribery of former Yangon Governor-General Lop Min Dae, one of many corruption cases involving Aung San Suu Kyi, in which five police officers testified as prosecution witnesses. Many other corruption allegations have been postponed until Feb. 18.

Aung San Suu Kyi is now being charged with corruption, electoral fraud and leaking state secrets, after being sentenced to six years in prison for violating Myanmar's penal code, the Natural Disaster Management Law and the Import and Export Administration Law. (Reporter Wang Yuezhou)
