Habit four win-win thinking

Recommendations for action:

1. Think about the next opportunity you need to use communication to agree with people or get solutions. Make sure you strike a balance between "dare to do" and "empathy."

2. Make a list of the obstacles that often prevent you from using win-win thinking. Remove those obstacles that fall within your circle of influence.

3. Choose a relationship where you want to achieve a win-win relationship. Try to put yourself in the other person's shoes and write down their views on the corresponding solution. Then from your own point of view, list the results that are beneficial to you. Communicate with the other person and ask him/her if he/she is willing to negotiate until a result is reached that is beneficial to both parties.

4. Think about the three most important relationships in your life. Try to find evidence in the emotional account of each relationship that gives you emotional break-even. Write down specific ways in which you draw emotions from these relationships.

5. Think deeply about how you do things. Is it a win-win or a loss for one party? Will this way of doing things affect your interactions with others? Do you know what are the main factors that influence this way of doing things? Weigh whether these ways of doing things are beneficial in your current situation.

6. Try to find a role model who is good at using win-win thinking. Does he/she insist on benefiting both parties even in difficult circumstances? Make up your mind now to observe this example more closely and learn from him/her.
