Zhang Ailian reported to the meeting on the motions work of the Second CPPCC Session. During the second session of the CPPCC National Committee, a total of 494 proposals were received from the conference, and after review by the Proposal Committee, 469 cases were filed, with a case filing rate of 95%. Among them, there were 133 collective motions by democratic parties and sectors, accounting for 28 percent of the total; and 336 individual committee members and joint proposals, accounting for 72 percent of the total. Among the proposals filed, 161 cases involved economic science and technology, 120 urban construction management, 173 social undertakings, and 15 social rule of law. After the active efforts and conscientious handling of the relevant departments of the district party committee and the district government, all the proposals have been completed, and the satisfaction rate of the members in replying to the proposals is more than 97% every year, and the satisfaction rate with the implementation of the proposals is more than 98% every year.
