China Automobile Association said that compared with 2020, the sales of the previously popular Haval M6 and Geely Boyue cars have declined, and other brand models have achieved growth, of which Auchan X5 has the most obvious growth rate. In 2021, sales of the above ten brand models reached 1.812 million units, accounting for 34.3% of the total sales of Chinese brand SUVs.

According to the statistical analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the market share of Chinese brand SUVs in 2021 has increased compared with 2020, with a total of 5.28 million units sold, an increase of 12.6% year-on-year; accounting for 52.3% of the total sales of SUVs, and the share has increased by 2.7 percentage points compared with 2020.
