"Wings" is actually a collection of limited edition shoes jointly launched by Jordan Brand and the "Wings" Foundation.

The "Wings" project was established to promote the global importance of education, through educational support to help young people build confidence, improve themselves, and achieve leaps, so "Wings" is used to encourage young people to spread their wings and fly.

The "Wings" series features Joe's classic arm-span poster, and the arms are the wings that make dreams come true.

The AJ12 was first released in the 1996–97 season, with Joe helping the owners to finish with their ninth scoring streak and reach the Finals again. What's more, the AJ12 is the first genuine sneaker launched by Jordan Brand since its inception, and the first AJ sneaker to be released Chinese mainland.
