Why would you give up looking for security?
Many people are looking for a sense of security, can only do things within the scope of security, and dare not go beyond the thunder pool. Some people may find a "sense of security", but only live in a corner of the world of the self. Some people don't find a sense of security in their lifetime.
What is security? Everyone and everyone is defined differently, and at the end of the day, it's a subjective feeling. This subjective feeling is not actually under our control, on the one hand it is fickle, on the other hand it is the result of the combined action of psychology and physiology in a certain situation.
Committed to finding a sense of security, one becomes a slave to feelings and emotions, always carefully at the mercy of subjective feelings, exhausted by this illusory feeling. If one is always curled up in a corner of security, one will lose touch with the wonderfulness of the world and devote too much energy to the feeling of nothingness.
If you think about it, most of the time when we feel fear, it doesn't necessarily mean that something terrible happens, but because we have feelings of fear, and we continue to amplify this feeling mentally and psychologically, and eventually, we become more and more afraid.
All emotions and feelings are difficult for us to control in themselves, and it is difficult for us to make ourselves have or eliminate a sense of security through some effort. For security, the right thing to do is to practice being out of control, focusing on concrete, practical life, expanding the boundaries of security, and constantly exploring the excitement of life.
Slowly, our inner "self" will become smaller and smaller, the real world will become larger and larger, and we will realize that there is no point in dwelling on these nihilistic senses of security all day long. Because whether you are entangled or not, the status quo will not change at all, and the status quo will only depend on what kind of action you have taken, what kind of effort you have made, and has nothing to do with your feelings.
