Fromm said that most people think that love is first and foremost a question of whether they can be loved, not whether they have the ability to love.

Indeed, the reason most unhappy marriages in life stem from the fact that humans are too focused on whether the other person can meet their own needs, rather than whether they have learned love in the relationship.

Love flows in both directions. Active is to deposit money in the emotional bank, passive is to withdraw money, no one is always passively accepted, without paying.

Greed, the harvest must be the bitter fruit of life. Happiness is the giving and satisfaction of people who are full of love and in the world.
