Lin International (China) led by Chen Jie: "Anhui Huangshan Xin'an River Basin Ecological Protection and Green Development Project" won the first prize of the 2020 National Excellent Engineering Consulting Achievement Award; liangtan River Comprehensive Treatment Engineering Design and Construction General Contracting (EPC) won the first prize of the Chongqing Survey and Design Association 2021 Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Award Municipal Public Works Design Award.
After graduating from university, he joined T.Y. Lin International (China), constantly accepting new challenges, pioneering and establishing ecological business sectors, and laying a solid foundation for the company's "green infrastructure" development.

At such an opportunity, he was not afraid of challenges, with his love for the profession and passion for the industry, he actively participated in internal competitions and successfully served as the head of the ecological environment business department.
And for Chen Jie, this is just the beginning of the challenge.
"When any business unit is just starting out, the biggest difficulty is the problem of project source and market recognition." Chen Jie said.
Although the company also had experience in water environment-related projects before the establishment of the Ecological Environment Division, the initial market recognition of the Division was not so satisfactory, until it successfully won the company's first relatively large World Bank loan project, the Restoration and Protection Project of Jingzhou Ancient City in Hubei Province.
For Chen Jie, who was the project manager at the time, this was an important experience that impressed me and an important turning point in the development of the department. "In the project, when we talked to international experts, we found that we had the ability to do these things well, and we were not afraid of the big challenges."
This learning exchange with the experts made Chen Jie and his colleagues more recognized their own abilities, and they were also encouraged. "On the other hand, when we accumulate such a batch of projects and then return to Chongqing or the domestic market, many owners know that we can do such things, and they are willing to entrust us with more things." Chen Jie said that at that moment, he also had the confidence and determination to take advantage of this step by step to widen the road and bring the department to greater development.
Strive for excellence to ensure the characteristics of the project
After accumulating more research design and practical experience, the business department has gradually been recognized by the outside world, and the award of the project has also allowed TY LIN International's ecological environment business sector to have its own voice in the industry. "It's a long-term, continuous process, and we want to be able to make our own difference in this area."

Chen Jie said that the previous design required quality to meet the standards, but now it emphasizes the comprehensive effect. As the person in charge of the Ecological Environment Division, Chen Jie has been interpreting the original intention with practical actions, assuming his professional responsibilities with an unshirkable hard core, leading the department to contribute to the city's appearance and quality improvement, and has also become one of the top 20 contributors to the 20th anniversary of T.Y. Lin International's entrepreneurship in China.
"The company has been doing these things since its inception, and the former chief engineers and chief engineers who are longer than me have actually done a lot for us. This is mainly an affirmation of our business sector. Chen Jie said.
At present, the development of the division mainly focuses on the field of water environment, with professional technology to focus on two product lines, namely river and lake ecological governance and urban water system integrated solutions, including from water plant sewage plant to pipe network treatment.
Chen Jie said that since last year, they have begun to explore the new plate of soil remediation and mine governance, hoping to further develop soil and mine governance in the future on the basis of continuing to maintain their advantages in the field of water environment.
