Originating in Northern Europe, biathlon is a combination of cross-country skiing and shooting, and can be called the "Song of Ice and Fire" on the snow. The race was full of ups and downs, with a total of 2-4 shots inserted in the intense ski race, testing the ability to convert movement and static. Athletes wear skis on their feet, hold ski poles, carry special small-caliber rifles, and shoot once every distance they ski, and the first to reach the finish line is the winner. Biathlon was included in the 8th Winter Olympics in 1960, and women's events were added to the 16th Winter Olympics in 1992.

The biathlon competition of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will be held at the National Biathlon Center in Zhangjiakou, producing a total of 11 gold medals, namely the men's 10 km sprint, the women's 7.5 km short distance, the men's 20 km individual, the women's 15 km individual, the men's 12.5 km chase, the women's 10 km chase, the men's 15 km group departure, the women's 12.5 km collective departure, the men's 4× 7.5 km relay, the women's 4×6 km relay, and the mixed relay (women's 2× 6 km + men 2 ×7.5 km).

The Chinese team will have 4 men, 4 women and a total of 8 athletes participating in the Winter Olympics. It is worth mentioning that the Chinese biathlon team has a "trump coach" - Bjør Darren and his wife. The men's team coach, Bjør Darren, is hailed as the king of biathlons in Norway, winning all four gold medals except for the mixed relay at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics and eight Winter Olympic gold medals, 20 World Championship gold medals and 108 World Cup gold medals throughout his career. His wife, Domlacheva, coaches the women's team, and she was a leader in biathlon in Belarus and won four Winter Olympic gold medals.

In addition, in this project, Sweden is widely concerned by the media, especially the Swedish women's team, which is considered a strong contender for Olympic medals. At the last PyeongChang Winter Olympics, germany won 3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze to rank first in the biathlon winter medal table, and France ranked second with 3 gold and 2 bronze. With the retirement of French star Martin Fokkard and German star Laura Dalmer, the battle for biathlon supremacy at the Beijing Olympic Games will become more intense.
