Retract free love

Retract free love

In the afternoon, I led my son to the river beach to fly kites.

The sky is clear, the wind and waves are calm, and it is a good weather to fly kites. Not long after, the kite rose steadily. The son was overjoyed and eager to finish all the lines at once. The rapid rotation of the spool, the occasional sound of bones, was an interesting thing for him.

However, after a while, the kite slowly fell from the sky, making people's hearts sink little by little.

On the river beach, there are many people flying kites, and there are many people watching kites fly. An old grandfather said: "This kite, you have to be able to fly, you have to be able to collect." ”

He enthusiastically taught his son the little skills of flying kites. The phrase "will be released, and it will be collected" has been stuck in my heart for a long time.

Teaching children is not the case.

Retract free love

If you compare your child to a kite, the kite flies high and far, naturally because the parents give freedom. Freedom, however, does not mean being unrestrained and reined. While we give our children freedom, we must also tighten the bottom line of the rules.

We often talk about loving and accepting children, which seems to be a popular trend. It is true that love and acceptance will give the child more security and make him travel more confidently.

But it is important to be warned that we must set the line between love and acceptance.

We love our children, but we must not indulge their bad behavior; we accept the ordinary of our children, but we cannot accept the decadence of our children because they are willing to be ordinary.

Otherwise, love may make children pampered and proud, and acceptance will be laissez-faire.

Retract free love

Our education is to guide children to grow up healthily when they recognize their characteristics. Seeing the child's efforts, we must also correct their wrong behavior and firmly establish a sense of rules for the child.

Only without touching the bottom line can children enjoy more freedom.

Retracting freely is an ability to love. It determines whether the child can fly higher, farther, and more steadily.
