At the end of last year, the relevant departments announced that the subsidy for new energy vehicles will decline by 30% in 2022. Recently, SAIC-GM announced that it will provide additional subsidies ranging from 2,000 yuan to 9,000 yuan for the formulation of new energy models. SAIC-GM said that paying a deposit to purchase designated models before March 31, 2022, can still enjoy subsidies of the same value as in 2021. The four models are: Buick Micro Blue 6 Smart Pure Electric Sedan, Buick Micro Blue 6 Smart Plug-in Hybrid Sedan, Buick Micro Blue 7 Smart Pure Electric SUV and Chevrolet Chang Cruise Intercity Coupe.

SAIC-GM said that these four new energy models are all based on GM's new energy model platform, equipped with GM's world-leading electric drive technology, hybrid technology and rapid update and iteration of intelligent interconnection technology. These four models have a 3-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty for the whole vehicle, and an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer ultra-long warranty for the three-electric system.

At the same time, SAIC-GM also said that in 2022, it will continue to accelerate the development of "electrification, intelligence and networking" to create a "smarter, safer and more performance" Aoteneng electric vehicle platform, which will gradually land in its three major brands, bringing consumers a new electrified driving experience and richer choices.
