However, no matter which way of marriage, it is done through both parties. After the newlyweds get married, they will go through normal legal procedures, need to have a marriage certificate, and abide by the marriage law.

In the friction of daily life, for various reasons, most will eventually choose divorce. Although the number of divorces is increasing now, it is not easy for two people to walk together, especially when they have children, and divorce hurts them even more.

Therefore, the Marriage Law stipulates that if the husband and wife do the following 4 things during the existence of the marital relationship, they will be sentenced to prison.

1. Bigamy. What is bigamy? As the name suggests, it is more than one marriage, in our country, bigamy law stipulates, that is, the crime of bigamy, so what is the crime of bigamy? The crime of bigamy is the intention to marry another person knowing that he or she has a spouse.

If there is no spouse who marries or lives together in a conjugal relationship without knowing that the other spouse has a spouse, the non-spouse does not constitute the crime of bigamy, and the spouse does constitute the crime of bigamy. The motives for bigamy are varied, some are like the new and dislike the old; some are out of greed for pleasure; some are feudal ideas, and so on.

There are three main types of convictions for bigamy:

1. It is a marriage that has been registered, has a spouse, and has a second registration with others, which is the legal crime of bigamy.

2. It is a bigamy crime to live with the original partner who has registered marriage and lives together without registration with others.

3. It is a bigamy crime to have no spouse, knowing that the other party has a spouse and is married, and also to treat the married other party as husband and wife.

According to article 258 of the Criminal Law, "Whoever has a spouse and is bigamous, or who knowingly marries another person with a spouse, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than two years or criminal detention."

Article 259 Whoever, knowingly becomes the spouse of a serviceman on active duty, cohabits or marries him shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention. ”

2. Malicious transfer of property during marriage. Malicious transfer of property within marriage refers to the transfer or concealment of common property by one party in terms of property after marriage, as long as there is evidence, the transfer of property is protected by law, and there is no property distribution after divorce; in addition, if one party is found to have the above behavior after divorce, the court will re-adjudicate the division of property, and the transfer or hiding party must be out of the house.

According to article 47 of the Marriage Law, if one party conceals, transfers, sells or destroys the joint property of the spouses in the event of divorce, or forges debts in an attempt to encroach on the property of the other party, the joint property of the spouses or the party forging the debts may be divided with less or no division.

3. Acts of domestic violence. Domestic violence is the most disadvantageous factor affecting the stability of marital relations, mainly because of its violent nature. Paragraphs 1 and 3 of article 307 of the Criminal Law stipulate that whoever, by means of violence, threats, bribery or other means, prevents a witness from testifying or instructs another person to give perjury shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention;
