1. The Mystery of the King of Yama

In the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the small city of Fengdu, which is bordering the Three Gorges, backs the mountains and faces the river, is said to be the seat of the Yanluo Royal Palace. There, from the beginning of the Tang and Song Dynasties, a series of projects such as 48 temples of large and small sizes such as the "Jade Emperor Hall", "Yan Wang Hall", and "Yin and Yang Realm" were successively built, which is the "ghost city" that people talk about and change color. The people usually call its chief leader the King of Yanluo.

This king of Yama, it is said that he "lived in the first hall, and because of his pity, he died of mercy, and repeatedly released the yang and stretched the snow, and lowered this temple."

From the Sui and Tang dynasties to the Qing Dynasty, it was popular to say that the kings of Yan Luo were popular. The first is the Sui general Han Hu. The second is the Northern Song Dynasty's name Xiang Kou Zhun. The third is the northern Song Dynasty famous minister Fan Zhongyun. The fourth is the Northern Song Dynasty Longtuge Zhi Bachelor Bao Zheng. Fifth, the Southern Song Dynasty.

A position as king of Yama, according to legend, has five reincarnations, but it is very compact. The prototype of the King of Yan Luo has not yet been unified.

Second, the mystery of Yang Guifei's corpse

Yang Yuhuan (719–756 AD): Taizhen. Rich in posture, good at singing and dancing, and through the rhythm of music, he was a court musician and dancer of the Tang Dynasty. Her musical talent is rare among the concubines of the past generations, and she is praised by later generations as one of the four beauties of ancient China.

In the fourteenth year of Tianbao (755 AD), the three towns of Fanyang, Pinglu, and Hedong made An Lushan rebel in the name of Qing Jun's side and anti-Yang Guozhong, and the soldiers pointed directly at Chang'an.

The following year, when Emperor Xuanzong of Tang fled with Yang Guifei and Yang Guozhong to Shuzhong (蜀中, in present-day Chengdu, Sichuan), passing through Ma Songyi (馬嵬驿, in present-day xingping, Shaanxi), Chen Xuanli's accompanying soldiers unanimously demanded that Yang Guozhong and Yang Guifei be executed, and then mutinied and killed Yang Guozhong with a knife.

Tang Xuanzong said that the country was loyal to the chaotic dynasty, but the noble concubines were innocent and wanted to be pardoned, but the soldiers of the forbidden army all thought that the noble concubines were the red face of the country, and the anshi rebellion was caused by the noble concubines, and it was difficult to comfort the hearts of the army and boost the morale, so they continued to surround the emperor.

Tang Xuanzong accepted Gao Lishi's advice, and in order to protect himself, he had no choice but to kill Yang Guifei. In the end, Yang Guifei was given a white aya and hanged herself under the pear tree in the Buddhist hall, when she was Chinese New Year's Eve eight years old.

This is the allusion to Bai Juyi's "Long Hate Song" that "the six armies do not send helpless, like a moth to die before the horse".

When Emperor Xuanzong returned to the palace after the Anshi Rebellion was settled, he sent people to search for Yang Guifei's body, but he did not find it.

Since then, Yang Guifei's whereabouts have become mysterious, but some people have found her tomb in Japan, but most people still think that Yang Guifei is dead, but the body cannot be found.

It is said that when Japan invaded China, it forced the common people to pull the iron chain in the well, and the iron chain was endless and could not be pulled. Pulling down the well began to roll up the black water, accompanied by the sound of rumbling water to smell fishy. The Japanese soldiers were also frightened, and quickly put the chain back into the well to cover the manhole cover and did not dare to move again.
