【SAIC Group 2021 Sales Express】A few days ago, SAIC Motor released its 2021 automobile sales data. According to the data, SAIC Motor's vehicle sales in December 2021 were 660,960 units, down 11.47% year-on-year compared to 746,607 units in the same period last year.
Among them, SAIC Volkswagen sold 136,583 units in December, down 13.29% year-on-year; SAIC-GM sold 160,628 units in December, down 17.15% year-on-year; SAIC-Volkswagen sold 105,317 units, a slight increase of 1.77% year-on-year; SAIC-GM-Wuling sold 215,725 units in December, down 10.61% year-on-year; SAIC Maxus sold 28,029 units, down 1.92% year-on-year.
For the full year of 2021, SAIC motor sold 5,463,500 vehicles, down 2.45% year-on-year compared to 5,600,482 units in the previous year. Judging from the sales volume of its car companies, the sales of saic-volkswagen and SAIC-GM joint venture car companies in 2021 will decline year-on-year, and independent brands will maintain the momentum of growth.
Among them, SAIC Volkswagen's annual sales of 1,242,022 units, down 17.50% year-on-year; SAIC-GM's annual sales of 1,331,567 units, down 9.26% year-on-year; SAIC-GM's cumulative sales of 800,767 units, an increase of 21.72%; SAIC-GM-Wuling's annual sales of 1,660,166 units, an increase of 3.76%; SAIC Maxus' annual sales of 232,844 units, an increase of 20.88% year-on-year.
