01# Jingdezhen Chinese Ceramics Museum

In recent years, the Jingdezhen Museum of Chinese Ceramics has changed its solemn and dignified feeling of being above the world by going out and introducing, expanding cooperation with folk art institutions, and holding various offline activities.

In 2021, the museum has held a number of exhibitions with academic value and influence, in these exhibits that condense history, we travel through time and space, enter the lives of the ancients, and feel the power of civilization. The Instrument of the King - a special exhibition of porcelain used by the king of the Ming Dynasty

This special exhibition is the first time at home and abroad to comprehensively and systematically sort out the tombs of the king of the clan, the ruins of the royal palace, the kiln site of Jingdezhen and the porcelain used by the kings of the Ming Dynasty that have been passed down to the world, clearly reflect the characteristics of the era of the porcelain used by the king of the clan, outline the development context of the porcelain system used by the king of the clan in different periods of the Ming Dynasty, reveal the relationship between the Jingdezhen porcelain of the Ming Dynasty and the group of the king of the clan, explore the specific function and status of porcelain in the life of the king of the clan, and also fully reflect the true face of the porcelain industry in the Jingdezhen area of the Ming Dynasty. And with the help of the unique nature of Fanwang porcelain, it helped to solve a series of core problems in the history of ceramics in the Yuan and Ming dynasties of Jingdezhen.

At the same time, this special exhibition explores the firing patterns and sources of the Fanwang porcelain produced in Jingdezhen in the Ming Dynasty, tries to break and sort out the periods in detail, and determines the correspondence between the porcelain used by the king of the clan in each period and the specific kiln site in Jingdezhen, so as to clarify the nature of the firing kiln field and the comparison relationship between the Jingdezhen porcelain industry at that time.

This special exhibition gathers more than 30 cultural institutions in nearly 14 provinces in China, and after two years of meticulous preparation, brings together a total of 460 sets of exhibits and specimens of Fanwang porcelain, detailing the important archaeological discoveries related to Ming Dynasty Fanwang porcelain over the years, and also displaying the latest archaeological excavation data of the Shu King, Huai Wang and other royal palace sites.
