On April 27th, "Everything Has Light - Xu Weibo's Works Exhibition" was held at the Shangrong Art Museum in Guangzhou.

Xu Weibo

Xu Weibo, born in 1987 in Shantou, Guangdong Province, graduated from the School of Chinese Painting of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2011 with a bachelor's degree. He currently lives and works in Guangzhou.

Hu Bin, dean and professor of the School of Arts and Humanities of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, introduced that the artist Xu Weibo mainly works as an ink creator, which was once included in the camp of southern youth ink painting under the new horizon. His artistic expression does not follow the existing ink pattern, but integrates a new understanding of tradition and current things, he looks at the natural world of birds and animals, and shows the connection of another field to our daily lives in a warm and novel tone.
