On January 5, the German premium car brand BMW Group announced that the flagship bmw iX family has welcomed two new members: the BMW iX M60 and the BMW iX xDrive 40.

Among them, the iX M60 is priced at 996,900 yuan, and the delivery time is in the middle of this year. The iX xDrive 40 is priced at 746,900 yuan and is delivered in January this year.

At this point, the three members of BMW's flagship pure electric family have been officially assembled, expanding the thickness of the group's existing electric vehicle lineup, and helping the group to fully step on the electrification offensive acceleration pedal.

As a milestone work for the tenth anniversary of the birth of the BMW i brand, the BMW iX vanguard xDrive 50 model was officially launched at the Guangzhou Auto Show last year, raising a high-end brand flagship electric vehicle to the market. With the addition of the iX M60 and iX xDrive 40 and the introduction of more pure electric models, the BMW i brand is ushering in the most vigorous new opportunities for development.

First of all, let's look at the BMW iX M60 model that is difficult to find in terms of performance indicators.

As the first high-performance electric SAV under the BMW M brand, the BMW iX M60 is BMW's first model with more than 1,000 Nm of torque and the fastest speed (250 km/h) of pure electricity production to date.

BMW iX M60 is equipped with M exclusive electric drive system, the front and rear dual motors jointly output 619 horsepower maximum power, 100 km/h acceleration of 3.8 seconds, 100 km /h energy consumption of 21.7 kWh, WLTP standard endurance of 566 km. In Sport mode and with the ejection start function activated, the momentary peak torque of the BMW iX M60 exceeds three digits to reach 1,100 Nm.

If making the book data beautiful is the basic skill that the BMW M brand does not need to repeat, then integrating driving performance with advanced technologies in the fields of design, technology and sustainability is the sum of the 50 years of adjustment skills of the BMW M brand.

In order to make the BMW iX M60 the most violent but quietest, fastest but most comfortable, most flexible but stable electric vehicle in history, engineers from the BMW M brand spared no expense: front double wishbones and rear five-link suspension, M exclusive tuning adaptive air suspension, electronically controlled shock absorbers, xDrive all-wheel drive, rear axle active steering, M sport brake system, etc., so that the blue sky and white clouds consistent driving fun fire can continue in the electric era.

At the same time, with the driver in mind that it provides the driver with sensory enjoyment equivalent to the internal combustion engine, BMW adds more fun to the BMW iX M60 with simulated sound waves from composer Hans Zimmer.

At a 100 kW DC fast charge, charging the battery from 10% to 80% only takes a period of coffee time – 41 minutes.

Strong product launch has promoted an intuitive increase in sales. In December last year, the BMW Group delivered its 1 millionth new energy vehicle worldwide. In the first 11 months of last year, the BMW Group delivered 42,000 new energy vehicles in China, an increase of 65.8% year-on-year.
