On January 1, GAC Toyota's MPV XENA launched a full delivery to users. A total of six models were launched, with a price range of 309,800 yuan to 405,800 yuan.
Inheriting SIENNA's successful experience over the past 24 years, XENA has a wheelbase of 3060mm, a length, width and height of 5165×1995×1785mm, and flexible seat adjustments that can easily switch between 4-seat, 5-seat, 6-seat, and 7-seat modes to meet the space needs of home, business, travel and other aspects. At the same time, the Xena trunk adopts a sunken design, and the conventional volume reaches 525L when the third row is full, and when the third row of seats is folded, the trunk volume can be expanded to 2112L.
In terms of power, Xena is equipped with a new enhanced version of the 2.5L HEV hybrid system, the maximum output of the system is 183kW, the maximum power of the engine is 141kW/6000rpm, the maximum torque is 238Nm/4200~4600rpm, the peak power of the motor is 134kW, and the WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is 5.9L/100km.
In terms of appearance, Xena subverts the bloated image of the traditional MPV, using a car-like front face design, and the overall visual is more dynamic. At the same time, for the first time, the Toyota brand is equipped with ahs high beam adaptive control system on Xena, which can automatically turn on or off high beams.
In fact, compared with the foreign version, Xena has undergone a series of localization upgrades, the rear panoramic sunroof (with full blackout electric sun blind) opening width reached 717mm; the first row of electric adjustment seats, including with electric leg rest, electric backrest adjustment, heating, ventilation function; the use of extra-long slide rails, adjustable stroke up to 816mm. When the backrest of the chair is lowered (maximum adjustment is 81°), it can lie down comfortably, bringing an exclusive and intimate riding experience; at the same time, the 12.3-inch full LCD color TFT multi-function information display is equipped with a new generation of multimedia system: simple and dynamic instrument design, the screen size is larger.
It is understood that since the opening of the pre-sale on September 21, Xena has quickly received a positive response from the market. Among the cumulative orders of Xena, the platinum version accounted for 34%, the premium version accounted for 25%, and the premium version accounted for 26%. In other words, more than 85% of users chose the three most expensive models.
With the start of full delivery of Xena, it will officially form the "three flagships" of GAC Toyota TNGA together with Camry and Highlander, build a "pyramid" of product matrix, and impact the million system.
