The 2023 Subaru new Aur tiger debuted at the New York Auto Show with a new look and new technology, and the updated version will be available this fall.
With the exception of the Wilderness version, all models have changes to the front, including a new bracket and a mesh pattern in the middle of the circular fog lights and grille. Not only that, but Subaru also adjusted the fender cladding to accentuate their wide-body shape behind the wheels, while the modified design of these parts added more protection to the bodywork.
All 2023 models come with EyeSight driver assistance technology, a camera with a wider field of view, and has been upgraded to the latest system. Models with an available blind spot detection system also come with emergency steering, which is used in conjunction with pre-crash braking to avoid collisions at speeds below 50kph. In addition, in addition to EyeSight's dual cameras, the top-of-the-line Touring model is also equipped with a wide-angle single camera. With this technology, the system can detect pedestrians and bicycles at intersections more quickly.
The new car's powertrain has not changed, and it is still equipped with a 2.5-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine that can produce 182 hp at 5800 rpm and 238 Nm at 4400 rpm. There is also a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine model that produces 260 hp at 5600 rpm and 375 Nm at 2000 rpm.
In addition to the previous 2.4-litre turbocharged power, the 2023 Outback's Onyx model features a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine. The model also comes with an electric sunroof, new black window trim and black 18-inch wheels. As well as the Wilderness models are equipped with a detachable cargo area pallet. The Limited model will feature a 12-way driver power seat with two position memories to replace the previous 10-way adjustment. The top-of-the-line touring model will feature a new black Nappa leather with contrasting tan stitching. Not only that, but it's also equipped with digital mirrors and compasses with auto-dimming.
