Unfortunate sacrifices, grief for loved ones
In the Battle of Lao Shan, Comrade Zhao Zhanying was unfortunately attacked by the artillery fire of the Vietnamese military, his thighs and buttocks were all blown off, and the blood flowed wildly, and when he was carried down from the battlefield, he was already dying, almost out of breath, like a bloody man.
On April 28, 1984, Comrade Zhao Zhanying finally failed to survive and died heroically at the age of 21.
In this battle, many young soldiers like Comrade Zhao Zhanying were killed on the battlefield, and they slept forever on the scorched earth full of gun smoke, attacked by artillery fire.
Some of them have heroic souls left there forever.
Under the cruel war, we have also lost many young and fresh lives, they may be the husbands of wives, the fathers of children, the sons of parents, but there is no way, in the face of national disasters they can only bravely defend the country, they are the heroes of the times, the heroes of the country!
Comrade Zhao Zhanying was buried in the Martyrs' Cemetery in Malipo County, Yunnan Province, where he was awarded the glorious title of revolutionary martyr and his family was awarded a certificate of revolutionary martyrdom.
When the news of Comrade Zhao Zhanying's sacrifice reached home, the elderly father could not withstand the pain of the white-haired man sending the black-haired man to lose his son, and after fainting, he fell ill and finally died and left this world forever.
Looking for a son to sweep the grave, the grief is unbearable
The mother wept bitterly and decided to find her son's body, living to see people die to see the corpse.
At first, the mother did not know that her son was buried in the cemetery, but after many inquiries, she wanted to meet her son and visit her son's grave.
But this mother, who lives in the mountains, has never gone out in her life, and her family is tight, and she can't even pay for the fare.
So, this mother began to save money and save money little by little, but the family was not rich, where could she save money?
In 2004, after the Chongming County Civil Affairs Bureau learned of Zhao Zhanying's mother's wish, it funded Zhao Zhanying's mother to go to the cemetery to visit her son's grave free of charge.
Twenty years after her son's death, the 76-year-old mother stepped into the cemetery for the first time, visited her son's grave, and looked at the photo of her son on the tombstone, and the mother could no longer suppress her crying.
The pain of losing one's skin in old age is too intense, and the pain is like a pain into the bone marrow, and the bones and flesh are stripped alive and trembling.
For a moment, the heavens and the earth were moved, as if even the fleshless heaven felt the grief of this mother.
After Zhao Zhanying's mother calmed down, she sat in front of the tombstone and gently touched her son's photo with her hand, her eyes tearful and silent.
The pain in her eyes was indescribable. Although the war is over, the pain left over from the war has not diminished in the slightest, and this invisible pain cannot be seen or touched in peacetime.
But once the parties involved in the incident are touched, the pain is like a flood of floodgates pouring out, and it can no longer be controlled.
Many times to visit the grave, but the wish
In 2006, Zhao Zhanying's mother came to the cemetery again to visit the grave of her son, which was much calmer than the first pain.
Maybe the mother had accepted the fact that her son was leaving, or maybe he didn't want her son to see his pain.
In 2009, Zhao Zhanying's mother came to Linyi for the fourth time to sweep the grave of her son, this year she was 81 years old, her health was not as good as before, and the tiredness after the labor of the boat and car was obvious on her face.
She may also realize that she will soon be in the world, so she wants to take advantage of the fact that her body is still strong, and then come to see her son for the last time.
After returning home from her son's grave for the fourth time, the mother was soon ill, and one day in 2018, the hero's mother suddenly improved, and she walked to the direction of her son's cemetery and stood for a long time, her eyes full of affection and love.
She slowly closed her eyes that night and never woke up again, at the age of 90.
War is cruel, peace is precious, we live in an age of disparity, but we live in a country full of peace.
Our peaceful country is made up of many warriors, with their flesh and blood, to build an unbreakable barrier for us and to protect the happy life of our people.
If there were no brave soldiers like Comrade Zhao Zhanying who dedicated themselves to the country and the people, where would we live a peaceful and joyful life now, and without the blood and life of these young soldiers.
