Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the 12th batch of 2021 (new energy vehicle promotion and application recommended model catalog), in which the detailed power parameters of BMW Brilliance i3 models were announced.
The data shows that the new car is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 250 kW and a maximum torque of 410 N·m. The total capacity of the vehicle battery pack has not yet been disclosed, but its endurance has reached 526 kilometers, the energy density of the battery system is 138Wh/kg, and the power consumption of 100 kilometers under working conditions is 14.3kWh.
On the outside, the new car adopts the current G28 generation 3 series styling design, while some of the core features of the BMW i brand have also been fully brought in. These include a fully enclosed double kidney grille with blue trim that is very prominent on the front face, a low-wind resistance wheel with larger coverage, and so on.
In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4872/1846/1481mm, and the wheelbase is 2966mm, which is very close to the data of the current 3 series long axis version, which will provide better rear space performance.
In the rear part, the overall design continues the shape of the current 3 Series, but some details have been modified, such as a new design under the bumper, and the addition of blue decorative strips.
According to the news, BMW Brilliance i3 is expected to be listed next year, together with the iX3 in Shenyang factory production. Its pricing will be significantly lower than the imported i4 series, and this model is also the first pure electric B-class car among the three major luxury brands of BBA, which is expected to take the lead in occupying this part of the market.
