The new car is a pure electric version of BMW's new 3 Series, which is a luxury medium-sized electric sedan designed by BMW for the Chinese market, manufactured by BMW Brilliance, and will take the lead in launching the i3 eDrive35L model in the future; the new car is expected to be officially listed in China in May.
The new BMW i3 has completed the declaration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology at the end of last year, although named "i3", but the new car is based on the mid-term redesign of the BMW 3 Series to create a pure electric version of the model, and the previous hatchback version of the i3 has nothing to do with. It is understood that BMW Brilliance i3 has begun to book at some dealers, and is expected to start scheduling in May and delivery at the end of May or early June.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the latest family design language - closed double kidney grille, a new front bracket design. The new car has a body size of 4872/1846/1481mm in length, width and height, and a wheelbase of 2966mm.
Judging from the official interior drawings, the car adopts the new BMW iDrive 8.0 operating system, and the layout is basically the same as that of the i4, which is very simple. Behind the three-frame steering wheel, the instrument screen and the central control screen form a penetrating curved screen with a wide field of view, or 12.3 inches and 14.9 inches in size, respectively; different from the classic gear handle of the i4, the mysterious model is set to a knob-type gear shift.
According to the information in the catalogue declaration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the BMW Brilliance i3 has a peak power of 250kW, a maximum speed of 180km/h, and is equipped with a ternary lithium battery of 70.27kWh, and the NEDC has a battery life of 526km.
