A few days ago, Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulations in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. Decided to recall a total of 519 imported Wrangler vehicles manufactured between January 20, 2021 and August 30, 2021, effective December 30, 2021.
Due to the reasons of the instrument combination software, the vehicles within the scope of this recall may cause the vehicle to fail to display the mileage value normally after driving 21473 kilometers (or 13342 miles), which does not meet the requirements of the relevant national mandatory standards. Missing odometer readings can cause the user of the vehicle to miss or delay important vehicle maintenance, and if there is a potential failure of the vehicle part due to lack of maintenance, it may cause an accident without prior warning, and there is a safety hazard.
Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will upgrade the instrumentation software for vehicles with a mileage of less than 21,473 kilometers within the scope of the recall free of charge, and replace the instrument combination for vehicles that no longer display the mileage value to eliminate safety hazards.
