Recently, Volvo Car Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Administrative Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures of the Administrative Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products, and decided to recall the following vehicles from February 20, 2023, totaling 4,103 vehicles.

1. A total of 106 2023 V60 vehicles produced from August 11, 2022 to January 13, 2023

2. A total of 185 2023 V90CC vehicles were produced from October 11, 2022 to January 13, 2023

3. A total of 3,812 XC90 2023 vehicles were produced from October 11, 2022 to January 13, 2023

Due to the unstable compatibility of the software and hardware of the brake control module, the brake control module may be mistakenly set to a fault state, resulting in the loss of brake assist and potential safety hazards.

Volvo Car Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will upgrade the brake control module software free of charge for vehicles covered by the recall through authorized dealers. In addition, it is planned to update the brake control module software through the vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) from March 17, 2023. If a vehicle cannot be recalled via Over-the-Vehicle Upgrade (OTA) technology, an authorized Volvo Cars dealer will proactively contact the relevant user to upgrade the vehicle's software free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.

Recently, Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Administrative Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products, the Implementation Measures of the Administrative Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Administrative Regulations on the Recall of Motor Vehicle Emissions, and decided to recall the following vehicles with a total of 22,965 vehicles from now on.

Some imported Lexus GS250, GS300, GS350, GS300h and GS450h vehicles produced between September 28, 2011 and August 22, 2018, a total of 9498 vehicles;

A total of 12,527 imported Lexus IS250 and IS300 vehicles were produced between October 25, 2012 and August 10, 2018;

884 imported Lexus RC300 vehicles produced between October 2, 2015 and August 2, 2018;

A total of 56 imported Lexus RCF vehicles were partially manufactured between September 29, 2014 and September 6, 2017.

Due to the improper shape of the upper part of the fuel tank ventilation pipe shell (resin material), micro-cracks may occur during use, and cracks may gradually penetrate the housing after prolonged use. When the fuel tank is filled with fuel, fuel may leak out from the cracked penetration of the ventilation pipe shell, which may pose a safety hazard and unreasonable emission hazard.

It was decided to recall some imported 2.0T4xeRubicon four-door Wrangler and 2.0T4xeSahara four-door Wrangler hybrid vehicles from now on, totaling 4,723 vehicles. The details are as follows:

1. A total of 391 2.0T4xeRubicon four-door Wrangler hybrid vehicles produced between January 13, 2021 and May 26, 2022.

2. A total of 4,332 2.0T4xeSahara four-door Wrangler hybrid vehicles produced between January 19, 2021 and August 15, 2022.

In some vehicles covered by this recall, the hybrid control module may lose communication with the transmission control module during driving, causing the transmission control module to issue a command to turn off the power, resulting in the loss of power during the vehicle's driving, which is a potential safety hazard.
