The station is located in Building 8 of Roma Garden Community, which is a four-story independent facility, with an elevator in the building, a service station for the elderly on the first and second floors, an activity room for the elderly, a science popularization hall for the elderly, and a medical service center on the third and fourth floors, which not only covers basic old-age services such as meal assistance and walking assistance, but also introduces medical resources.
"The service objects that come to our station mainly cover the home care service groups in 6 communities such as Roma Garden, Ganzhongli and Ganlu Garden, and there are elderly people who eat and move here every day, and about 500 people come here every month to receive professional medical services." The person in charge of the Second Health Service Center of Balizhuang was introduced.
Since 2019, Roma Jiayuan Community Service Station has begun to explore home care services, and carry out home care and health services such as home care and chronic disease management for the surrounding elderly. At the same time, expert doctors from top three hospitals are regularly invited to provide free health consultation and free consultation services for the elderly in the jurisdiction. In September this year, the medical insurance line of the station was officially completed, realizing the real-time settlement function of medical insurance, and after 3 months of integration testing, it was officially launched recently. The station has set up departments such as general medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, dentistry, and health departments, and links medical resources such as the top three hospitals, the second-level hospitals, and the Balizhuang Community Health Service Center. "It's nice to come here in the morning to get medicine, have lunch at noon, and then you can do this activity with your old neighbors in the afternoon." Zhou Jing, who is in her 80s, said.
In the next step, Balizhuang will fully open a new model of smart old-age care, through the three ways of "sponsorship", "medical care" and "health care", so that nearly 30,000 elderly people have support and happiness.
