Recently, the Hubei Provincial Medical Security Bureau and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security jointly issued the Notice on Forwarding (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), which clarifies that from January 1 next year, Hubei Province will uniformly implement the new version of the national medical insurance drug catalogue (2021).
After the adjustment of the national medical insurance drug list in 2021, 74 new drugs entered the list, including 67 exclusive drugs transferred into the negotiation and 7 non-exclusive drugs directly transferred, of which the average price of exclusive drugs successfully negotiated was 61.71%.
Through this catalogue adjustment, the total number of drugs in the new national medical insurance drug catalogue (2021) is 2860, of which 1486 are Western medicines, 1374 are proprietary Chinese medicines, and 892 are still Chinese medicine tablets.
The newly included drugs in this adjustment involve a total of 21 clinical groups, supplementing the drug needs of tumors, chronic diseases, anti-infection, rare diseases, women and children, etc., and including 7 kinds of drugs for the treatment of rare diseases, and patients benefit a wide range. Another 11 drugs with low clinical value, strong replaceability and small procurement volume on the national procurement platform in recent years have been transferred out.
The "Notice" requires that, in strict accordance with the relevant national requirements, do a good job in the landing of the drug catalogue to ensure that the new version of the drug catalogue can be landed in Hubei on time.
The "Notice" emphasizes that the local "dual-channel" drug catalogue should be adjusted in a timely and prudent manner, and in principle, the 67 new negotiated drugs added to the catalogue in 2021 should be included in the scope of "dual-channel" management drugs, so as to ensure that the 67 newly negotiated drugs newly entered into the catalogue can be purchased in at least 1 designated medical institution or designated retail pharmacy in the local area, and can be reimbursed normally, further alleviating the economic burden of patients.
