Delivery/subsidy pre-sale from 328,000 yuan in September next year Weilai ET5 was officially released
At this NIO Day, WEI's second pure electric sedan ET5 was officially released and opened for pre-sale, and the new car launched a total of 75kWh and 100kWh. The pre-sale price before the subsidy is 328,000-38.6 million yuan. If the user purchases according to the BaaS battery rental plan, the price before the vehicle subsidy is 258,000 yuan, of which the monthly fee of 75kWh battery is 980 yuan and the monthly fee of 100kWh battery is 1480 yuan. The car is positioned as a medium-sized pure electric coupe, which is also the fifth model of the NIO brand and the second car of the NIO brand.
In terms of appearance, WEILAI ET5 is more like the smaller ONE ET7, but compared with THE ET7 luxury and elegance, the ET5 is more sporty. It adopts the front face design of Weilai's iconic X-Bar, the LED day running lights and headlights adopt a split design, adopt a closed grille, and the front face design is sci-fi dynamic.
The ET5 has smooth side lines, with a length, width and height of 4790x1960x1499mm and a wheelbase of 2888mm. In terms of color, nine body colors are available, of which clear space powder and cloud yellow are the exclusive colors of ET5, and the annual color Aerospace Blue will also be installed on ET5.
The tail uses the design of the duckling tail, and the tail light adopts the popular through-channel design, which is more fashionable and dynamic with the spoiler at the bottom.
In terms of body structure, NIO ET5 is designed according to C-NCAP and Euro NCAP five-star safety standards, using ultra-high strength steel and aluminum hybrid body, and the vehicle has a torsional stiffness of 34,000 N·m/deg. The center of gravity height of the ET5 vehicle is only 482.6mm, with a 1,685mm ultra-wide wheelbase, and the anti-rollover coefficient is 1.7, which exceeds the American NHTSA five-star standard.
In terms of interior, NIO has been designing the cockpit space according to the concept of the second living room. The overall design is simple and full of personality, hidden air outlets, speakers make the overall sense of the interior stronger, and the interior uses new materials in many places to create a good sense of high-grade. In terms of configuration, ET5 uses Qualcomm's third-generation digital cockpit platform, equipped with 10.2-inch HDR digital instrument, 12.8-inch AMOLED central control screen, 5G mobile Internet, and ET5 is also equipped with 23 speakers, 7.1.4 immersive sound system; audio power reaches 1000W.
The ET5 is equipped with NIO's panoCinema, a digital cockpit with AR/VR technology. NIO and innovative AR equipment company NREAL have jointly developed exclusive AR glasses that can project a visual distance of 6m, equivalent to a 201-inch large screen, and have also cooperated with NOLO to develop NIO VR Glasses, equipped with ultra-thin Pancake optical lenses, which can realize binocular 4K display.
The ET5 series is equipped with NIO Autonomous Driving's latest automatic driver assistance technology NAD (NIO Autonomous Driving), which is equipped with 19 assisted driving functions as standard, equipped with 33 high-performance perception hardware, including a long-distance high-precision lidar, 7 8-megapixel high-definition cameras, 4 3-megapixel high-sensitivity surround cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radar, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Through THE Aquila supersensitive system and the supercomputing platform Adam, we will gradually realize high-speed, urban areas, parking, power exchange and other scenarios, and the whole process of safe and relaxing point-to-point automatic assisted driving experience. The full function of NAD adopts the service subscription model of "monthly activation and monthly payment", that is, ADaaS (AD as a Service), the service fee is 680 yuan per month, and the service will be gradually provided after completing the development verification.
The ET5 series adopts the form of dual motor four-wheel drive, of which the front axle is equipped with a 150kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, the rear axle uses a 210kW asynchronous induction motor, the system has a comprehensive power of 360kW, a peak torque of 700N·m, an acceleration of 4.3s from zero to 100 kilometers, the front and rear counterweight ratio of the vehicle reaches 50:50, and a five-link front and rear independent suspension is used to match 8 driving modes.
In terms of battery life and endurance, it is equipped with a standard battery pack (75kWh) CLTC with a range of more than 550km, and a long battery pack (100kWh) with a range of more than 700km. At the same time, EV Vision also learned from the official that ET5 also has a model equipped with a long battery pack (150kWh) with a range of more than 1000km.
Nio ET7 will start delivery on March 28
At this event, Li Bin, founder of WEILAI Automobile, announced that the MEDIUM AND LARGE INTELLIGENT ELECTRIC FLAGSHIP SED CAR ET7 will open the lock order on January 20, 2022, and start delivery on March 28.
ET7 sets the standard for autonomous driving computing power and sensors, with more than 100 comfortable, safe and intelligent configurations as standard, and more than 20 new configurations and functions have been enhanced during the preparation process of mass production, including the acceleration of zero to 100 kilometers to 3.8s, and the wind resistance coefficient is optimized to 0.208.
The NIO ET7 model is equipped with an electric drive unit of 180kW in the front and 300kW in the rear, with a maximum output power of 480kW and a maximum output torque of 850N·m, making it accelerate from 0-100km to only 3.9s. In terms of battery equipment, NIO ET7 models are equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 75kWh as standard, and its comprehensive cruising range is 550km. The optional capacity is 100kWh, and the cruising range will exceed 700km; after the optional 150kWh battery pack, the comprehensive cruising range will exceed 1000km.
The latest planning of the NIO brand
At the NIO Day, NIO also announced the latest plan for its brand.
In terms of NIO Power, it is more convenient to make it easier to add electricity than to refuel. In 2022, NIO will continue to lay out a charging and swapping service network, with more than 1,300 substations, 6,000 supercharge piles, 10,000 destination charging piles nationwide, and more than 30 destination charging routes such as the Silk Road and Xishuangbanna Rainforest.
In terms of overseas development, following the entry into the Norwegian market, NIO's products and system-wide services will be officially landed in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark in 2022, and in more than 25 countries and regions in 2025.
In addition, NIO announced the official launch of the ecological co-construction program Clean Parks, which will invest 100 million yuan in the next three years to support the use of smart electric vehicles in global nature reserves, build clean energy infrastructure, build a clean and low-carbon energy self-circulation system, and protect the authenticity and integrity of the ecosystem.
