A few days ago, overseas media exposed a group of Kia facelift Sportage model road test spy photos, the new car is expected to debut at the end of this month at the earliest, and is expected to go on sale before the end of this year. In the domestic market, Yueda Kia's new Liontop model is expected to be launched before the end of this year or early 2025, and is expected to adopt the same design elements as the overseas version, with the main competitors in the same class including Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V and BYD Song PLUS.
As can be seen from the spy photos released, the Kia facelifted Sportage model adopts the same design elements as the brand's Carnival model on the head, with an upgraded large blackened honeycomb grille and newly-shaped LED headlight clusters on both sides. At the rear, a concealed exhaust layout is used, and the LED taillight cluster above may be the same as the current model.
In terms of power, the Kia facelifted Sportage model will be equipped with a 1.6T mild hybrid, 1.6T hybrid and 1.6T plug-in hybrid models for consumers to choose from, and the drivetrain will be mated to 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch transmissions, and some models will also be equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
