Since the age of 5, Liu Yongyao entered the family school to study, study very hard, at the age of 10, admitted to Hunan Provincial Yueyun Middle School, 3 years later with excellent results into Beijing Chaoyang University, Liu Yongyao is a well-deserved genius.
If he continues to follow this path, he may become a writer or educator in the future, but the environment in which he lives has changed his choice - in China in the 1920s, during the period of warlord chaos, the people were in the depths of the water, and literature was doomed to save the country in danger.
After careful consideration, Liu Yongyao decided to abandon his pen and join Rong, and in 1924, Liu Yongyao was successfully admitted to the Whampoa Army Officer School and entered the first phase of the sixth team for training, this year he was only 15 years old, the youngest cadet of the same period. But age has never been an obstacle to his progress, and since entering school, Liu Yongyao has ranked among the best in all subjects.
The following year, Liu Yongyao graduated, he just walked out of the campus on the front foot, the back foot joined the Crusade team, with the strength of not being afraid of death, he was appointed as the captain of the stormtrooper, many times injured still unwilling to go down the line of fire, made countless battle achievements, so he was promoted to battalion commander. In order to further enhance his ability, as soon as the war ended, he immediately went to the Soviet Union and entered the Moscow Sun Yat-sen University for further study, this class is not good, it is revered as the "theoretician class", Zuo Quan, Li Zhuoran, Qu Wu and others are from this class, here, Liu Yongyao met countless like-minded people, and his ability was rapidly improved.
In 1927, Liu Yongyao returned to China after completing his studies, was appointed as the battalion commander of the army lieutenant colonel, just 1 month later, he was promoted to colonel, this year he was only 18 years old, in the next few years, Liu Yongyao was not arrogant, all the way up, in fact, he thought he could continue to go to the battlefield, but organizationally transferred him to the civilian department.
Although it is a pity, but since it has been done, it must be done well, when serving as the deputy director of the Propaganda Department, Liu Yongyao not only founded the drama club, but also concurrently served as a professor at the National Central University and the president of the Chung Cheng School.
In 1945, when the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression came to an end, Liu Yongyao was also awarded the rank of lieutenant general by the Nationalist government for many years of merit, at the age of 36. In December 1949, for some special reasons, Liu Yongyao went to Taiwan, and since then, he has gradually withdrawn from politics and returned to his family, but in his spare time, he went to some universities as a professor and wrote articles, and his books such as "Introduction to Political Science", "Philosophy of Life", "Introduction to Economics" and other books were widely acclaimed, and Liu Yongyao was also known as "Confucian General".
Don't look at Liu Yongyao on the battlefield is a fierce general, treating grandchildren, it is extremely gentle, especially granddaughter Liu Ruoying, simply held in the palm of his hand, Liu Ruoying once recalled that when he was a child, he made mistakes, he was beaten by the teacher, grandpa knew, he was angry to find a gun, for Liu Reuying, grandpa is a big hero to protect the whole family.
Later, Rene Liu became a singer, and with songs such as "Crazy for Love", "Later", "Love You Very Much", etc., the fire spread all over the country, and grandpa liked to listen to her singing the most, which was also the "Whampoa Military Academy Song", which was also the only song that the old man could sing in his life.
Although he was in Taiwan, the old man remembered the mainland all his life and was concerned about cross-strait relations; he visited Beijing as honorary head of the visiting delegation of the China Association for the Advancement of Peaceful Reunification, and repeatedly appealed to the old classmates in Huangpu to make a contribution to cross-strait peace. Grandpa's words are the spiritual pillar of Rene Liu, and she has said many times that her current achievements are inseparable from her grandfather's teachings.
On August 22, 1998, Liu Yongyao died of illness in Taiwan at the age of 89.
