Qinghai's "Demon Tomb" appeared impressively, rising 33 meters from the ground, digging halfway, and experts hurriedly withdrew

China's burial culture has a long history, and since Qin Shi Huang built the imperial tomb, it has been imitated by the rulers of successive dynasties. They put their favorite antique calligraphy and paintings, gold and silver jewelry in the mausoleum, thinking that they would go to another world and continue to enjoy the glory and wealth. However, their careful thinking was seen through by the discerning people, and the funerary goods in the mausoleum were also dug up by the tomb robbers.

In 1996, there was a "demon tomb" in Qinghai Hot Water Township in China, and unlike other tombs, the "demon tomb" was not buried in the ground, but rose from the ground, about 33 meters high, very peculiar. There are unlucky legends about this ancient tomb among local Tibetans, who believe that it is a "tall building with a monster", and some people call it a "nine-story demon tower".

After the experts heard the news, they immediately conducted investigation and measurement, and named the "Demon Tomb" "Blood Wei No. 1 Tomb". The Blood Wei No. 1 Tomb sits north and faces south, is 55 meters long and 37 meters wide, and from the front, it looks very much like the Chinese character "Jin", so it has won the title of "Pyramid of the East". However, the Blood Wei No. 1 Tomb is not the only tomb in Hot Water Township, and experts have found many small ancient tombs around it, about 200 of which there are about 200. Unfortunately, more than 200 small tombs around have been excavated by tomb thieves, and academics have collectively referred to the Blood Wei No. 1 Tomb together with the surrounding small tombs as "Hot Water Tombs".

The site of the Blood Wei No. 1 Tomb is excellent, and the original feng shui master used two east-west mountain ranges to build this mausoleum at its intersection, constituting the trend of "two dragon play beads". According to the construction method of the mausoleum, the designer was influenced by the thinking of the "yellow intestine inscription" of the Royal Tomb of the Han Dynasty when building the mausoleum. In the "Book of Han Huo Guang Biography", it has been recorded that the "Yellow Intestine Inscription" is a frame structure made of cypress wood around the western Han Emperor's mausoleum room, according to the han Dynasty's etiquette regulations, "Yellow Intestine Inscription" has the same status as the Zi Palace, the Ben Room, the Golden Jade Robe, etc., and is an important part of the imperial tomb.

The materials used in Tomb No. 1 are very luxurious, and it uses slow-growing cypress wood, of which the thickest cypress is 60 centimeters in diameter and the thinnest cypress is 15 centimeters in diameter. You know, even cypresses with a diameter of 15 centimeters will grow for 200 years. According to experts, the general small tomb only needs to use twenty or thirty cypresses, slightly larger ones need hundreds, and the Blood Wei No. 1 Tomb from top to bottom, every one meter or so there is a layer of rough and neatly arranged "piercing wood", a total of 9 floors, so it is also called "nine-story demon building" by local herders.

According to calculations, to build the Blood Wei No. 1 Tomb, at least 10,000 people need to start construction at the same time, which takes more than a year to complete. After careful excavation by experts, a large number of funerary items were finally found on the first and second floors of the tomb, including ancient Tibetan wood chips, painted paintings, gold ornaments and other objects. In addition, more than 700 animal remains were excavated, including cattle, horses, sheep and so on. The most distinctive thing is that archaeologists also found 5 burial horse ditches and 13 ring-shaped animal burial pits before the tomb, and unearthed a large number of complete animal skeletons.

Later, after examining the historical records, experts determined that the owner of the Blood Wei No. 1 Tomb was the Tuguhun royal family in the early Tang Dynasty, and it was also the first Tuguhun tomb found in China. However, archaeologists only dug two layers and then panicked to exit, because the structure in the tomb has been seriously damaged, and digging down will destroy the tomb, so they can only wait until the technology is mature to excavate, I believe that the remaining 7 layers of tombs will definitely make the world more shocked.
