Deng Yanda was an extremely powerful figure in Chiang Kai-shek's view, because Chiang Kai-shek once said that there were only two people in the world who could replace him, one was Chairman Mao, and the other was Deng Yanda, but Deng Yanda had already been killed by him. Chiang Kai-shek and Deng Yanda worked together for a long time, why did the two break up later?

At the age of 14, Deng Yanda enrolled in the Guangzhou Army Primary School, and later joined the Baoding Military Academy and other military schools to learn military theory and military technology. Deng Yanda, who has been studying and studying in major military schools for a long time, has mastered many military command techniques. In 1920, Deng Yanda joined the Cantonese Army organized by Dr. Sun Yat-sen and began to resolutely support Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary cause. During his time with Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Deng Yanda made many military achievements in combat neutrality, which was deeply used by Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and his position was constantly promoted.
During the period when Deng Yanda followed Dr. Sun Yat-sen in propagating the revolution, Chiang Kai-shek also supported Dr. Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary cause, so the two gradually intersected when they participated in revolutionary work. When the Kuomintang decided to prepare for the Whampoa Military Academy, Deng Yanda and Chiang Kai-shek and others were the main people in charge of the preparatory work, and both of them at this time were loyal followers of Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary cause, and there seemed to be no sharp contradiction between the two. After the completion of the preparations for the Whampoa Military Academy, Deng Yanda served as the director of the coaching department of the school.
Although Deng Yanda's teaching method is severe, he never blames the students too much, but carefully teaches the students to be just and patriotic and protect the family, and the students all admire and respect the director of the coaching department. However, with the emergence of various contradictions within the military academy, Deng Yanda finally resigned from his post at the military academy and decided to travel to Europe to study and study. After Deng Yanda resigned from the school, the affairs of the military academy were busy, and Chiang Kai-shek felt that Deng Yanda's work ability was outstanding, so he wrote to Deng Yanda to ask him to return to China to assist him in handling the affairs of the military academy.
During the period when Deng Yanda went abroad to investigate, major changes had taken place in the country, and with the death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, whom he resolutely supported, Chiang Kai-shek was under great pressure. Deng Yanda's return to the National Assembly allowed Chiang Kai-shek to be much easier in handling various complicated affairs, so at this time, Deng Yanda was still quite trusted and reused by Chiang Kai-shek. However, Chiang Kai-shek's suspicion of this person was too heavy, and he felt that Deng Yanda was too close to the Communist Party and was not loyal to him, coupled with the difference in political views between the two, the relationship with Deng Yanda gradually weakened.
Rupture was arrested
After returning to China, Deng Yanda found that Chiang Kai-shek had gradually violated his original intention of developing the revolutionary cause and began to organize an armed uprising against Chiang Kai-shek. At first, Chiang Kai-shek also thought that he could change Deng Yanda's ideas, let him stand on his side, and repeatedly put forward favorable conditions to win him over. However, Deng Yanda understood that the Chiang Kai-shek in front of him had changed a lot from the past, and he was unwilling to cooperate with Chiang Kai-shek anymore. Chiang Kai-shek repeatedly ran into a wall with Deng Yanda, and after knowing that he could not save Deng Yanda, he considered his own situation and had the intention of killing Deng Yanda.
After Deng Yanda stood against Chiang Kai-shek, his revolutionary cause was very unsuccessful and was suppressed by Chiang Kai-shek's various liquidations. Deng Yanda, who deeply felt that he had encountered major obstacles to the development of the revolutionary cause, decided to go abroad to investigate, intending to return to China to establish a new organization after obtaining more excellent opinions abroad. In view of Deng Yanda's outstanding personal ability, Chiang Kai-shek has always been uneasy about Deng Yanda and always wants to find an opportunity to arrest him. When Deng Yanda returned to China again to prepare to overthrow Chiang Kai-shek, he was finally arrested by Chiang Kai-shek in Shanghai.
He was killed in his prime
After Deng Yanda was arrested, he was escorted to Nanjing for detention. During his imprisonment in Nanjing, Chiang Kai-shek repeatedly persuaded Deng Yanda to abandon his ideas and promised to give Deng Yanda all kinds of preferential treatment. In the face of Chiang Kai-shek's solicitation, Deng Yanda refused without even thinking about it, and the two had already developed serious differences in revolutionary ideas, and it was impossible to have any more opportunities for cooperation. Deng Yanda's refusal made Chiang Kai-shek feel helplessly disappointed and transferred him to the foothills of the Purple Mountain to be imprisoned. On November 29, 1931, Chiang Kai-shek's guard captain Wang Shihe wanted to escort Deng Yanda to Tangshan, but in fact he escorted Deng Yanda to Nanjing Qilin Gate Shazigang and killed him.
On the way to escort Deng Yanda, the people in the car said that the car was malfunctioning and needed to be checked, so that Deng Yanda got out of the car. After Deng Yanda got out of the car, all kinds of deafening gunshots sounded around the car, and Deng Yanda fell to the ground in the fierce gunfire, at the age of 36. Chiang Kai-shek chose to kill Deng Yanda at this time because he was about to go to the wilderness, so the person who might take over him was Deng Yanda, and in order to avoid this situation, he finally chose to kill him. It is deeply regrettable that the loyal revolutionary martyrs who died in order to save the country from danger left in their prime.
Deng Yanda traveled everywhere for the firm ideal and correct revolutionary cause, and his revolutionary spirit would always be remembered by the people and guide more people to strive for the ideal. Today, Deng Yanda's tombstone stands at The Linggu Temple in Nanjing, and countless people spontaneously go to the place every year to deeply commemorate this great patriotic democrat.
